Side panels

The guide applies to the v1.1 side panels.

You need the Classify Plugin and to have the expose "ID attribute option" must be checked for the Side Panel to work (see instructions below)

Overview

The side panel component in uses a Popup element. Custom CSS is applied the popup to position it on the right side of the of your page

When viewed from the editor, the Side Panel will be positioned at the center of your page, BUT when previewed in app, it will be positioned as expected on the right side of the page.

How to get setup

Step 1 - Install the Classify Plugin

Step 2 - Check the "expose ID attribute" in settings

If you pasted a Side Panel component into your app BEFORE checking the "expose ID attribute" setting, you must re-paste the component into your app.
